Kensington Volunteer Fire Department 9/11 Memorial

Please join us to mark 20 years since the 9/11 Attacks, at the Kensington Volunteer Fire Department 9/11 Memorial.

This special ceremony will feature remarks from U.S. Senator Chris Van Hollen (D-MD), former CIA Chief of Staff Jeremy Bash (who will speak to his role in the CIA’s hunt for and capture of Osama Bin Laden), MCFRS Fire Chief Scott Goldstein, former KVFD Fire Chief James Stanton, Kensington MD Mayor Tracey Furman, and others.

The colors will be presented by the Wheaton Volunteer Rescue Squad Color Guard, and the Montgomery County Firefighters Pipes and Drums will close the ceremony.

Parking is available behind station at 10620 Connecticut Ave, and at the Bakery/Tobacco Union at 10401 Connecticut Ave.
