KVFD Room Rental

Need space for your next event? The Community Room at Station 5 is a great spot for birthday parties, retirement celebrations, group meetings, and any other event you’d like to host. 

Limited parking is available on-site at the rear of the building and on the side streets in the general surrounding area. For those using public transit, there is a bus stop directly in front of Station 5 at Connecticut Ave. and Plyers Mill.

Suggested minimum donations are:

• $300 for 20 kids/adults or more
• $250 for 19 kids/adults or less

• The 4-hour reservation period includes your set-up and clean-up. Please note that your clean-up impacts the next party or station use during the week. Please thoroughly clean the room and pantry, and put all trash inside the dumpster found in the back parking lot just across from the community room entrance. For example:
  • The 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. reservation uses the first hour for set-up with a party from 11-1 at the latest, allowing one hour for clean-up.
  • The 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. reservation uses the first hour for set-up with a party from 3-5 at the latest, allowing one hour for clean-up.
• Tables and chairs are available for your convenience and use. The reservation period includes time for you to set-up, clean, and return these as directed.
• For your convenience, we offer a warming pantry with full access to a refrigerator, microwave, kitchen sink and counter space for your refreshments. The pantry is found next to the Community Room.
